Belmont Oasis Swim and Survive program caters for all ages and abilities from infants right through to adults. The structured program has been well defined, is scientifically sound and allows for the personal development of each student.
Our yearly program is designed to provide steady progress throughout the year gaining both valuable swimming and survival skills.
Our indoor heated pools and outdoor heated pool provide the perfect enviroment for learning these skills, this coupled with our dedicated Austswim qualified instructors provides a program strong in both technique and water safety.
At Belmont Oasis, we believe that learning to swim is essential to your child's education, it is a life saving skill and should be an enjoyable, safe and fun experience. Patience, practice and perseverance is required as it takes time to develop the knowledge and muscle groups needed for swimming.
The Swim School operates 7 days a week, providing for the needs of infants, children and adults.
Wonder is the water familiarisation component of the Swim and Survive program, designed specifically for children aged 4 to 36 months.
Courage is the water confidence component of the Swim and Survive program, and is designed for children aged 3 to 5 years.
Active is the Swimming and Water Safety component of the Swim and Survive program, and is designed for children aged 5 - 14 years. This component of Swim and Survive has been around for over 30 years, with almost 15 million Australians gaining a Swim and Survive award since its inception.
