Dynamic Taping Workshop

Dynamic Taping Workshop

Conducted by the Sports Medicine Team at Perth Integrated Health and led by Ian Wee our Sports Medicine Director who is also the first Rock Doc for Australia. Join us in our 2019 series with new innovations and new techniques seldom seen or realised in the sports medicine field – for discerning athletes and sports people.

The workshop will cover the theory and application of Rocktape, its introduction in the sports medicine market and its introduction to clinical medicine. Participants will learn dynamic taping methods with this special dynamic taping method.

Using this Rocktape approach enables us to:
  1. Achieve faster recovery phase in rehabilitation
  2. Reduce dependency on static rehabilitation applications
  3. Improve function and independence
  4. Prepare the athlete for its use before and after their sport
The theoretical underpinnings of taping lie in its ability to work across muscle and tendon chains and utilising the body's key points of control to assist. It is a modality that can be applied for improving functional outcomes with a range of conditions.
